Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Valley Land Surveying PLLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use PDF-Plot.com and the other products in the Valley Land Data family (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. When you create an account, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email address and authentication credentials. We do not store your password.
- Billing information. Purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Your credit balance is stored in your Stripe customer record, keyed to your email address.
- Uploaded files. Survey and plat PDFs you upload are processed to produce CAD output. Files are used only to generate your results.
- Usage data. Basic technical logs (such as request times and error diagnostics) used to operate and secure the Services.
2. How We Use Information
- To authenticate you and provide access to your account.
- To process your files and deliver converted CAD output.
- To process payments and maintain your credit balance across the Valley Land Data family.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
3. Credits and the Product Family
Your credit balance is associated with your email address and is shared across Valley Land Data products (including all Plot family products (Legal-Plot, Corner-Plot, ALTA-Plot, FEMA-Plot, PDF-Plot, Topo-Plot, Utility-Plot, and GLO-Plot)). Using the same email on each product lets your balance follow you.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Services — principally Clerk (authentication) and Stripe (payments) — and only as needed to provide those functions, or where required by law.
5. Data Retention
Uploaded files and generated outputs are retained only as long as needed to provide the conversion and your access to results, after which they may be deleted. Account and billing records are retained as required for legitimate business and legal purposes.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices
You may access or update your account information through your account page, or request deletion of your account by contacting us. Payment records may be retained as required by law.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
