Terms of Service
Last updated: June 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PDF-Plot.com and related Valley Land Data products (the "Services"), operated by Valley Land Surveying PLLC. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
PDF-Plot converts vector (native CAD export) PDFs — civil, survey, architectural, structural, or any discipline — into layered CAD output (DXF), with optional COGO closure verification and PLSS-based geo-location. The Services restore embedded vector linework; they do not vectorize scanned or raster images.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to download results. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Authentication is provided by Clerk.
3. Credits and Payment
- Processing is paid for with credits. Credit packs are purchased through Stripe.
- One credit is deducted per file successfully processed, regardless of page count or output formats.
- Credits are only deducted on successful processing. If the pipeline fails to produce a result, no credit is consumed.
- Credits do not expire and are shared across the Valley Land Data family when you use the same email address.
- Downloading DXF/SVG output requires being signed in with an available credit balance.
4. Refunds
Because credits are consumed only on successful processing, purchased credits are generally non-refundable once delivered to your balance. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review in good faith.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to upload only files you have the right to process, and not to misuse the Services, attempt to disrupt them, or use them to violate any law or third-party rights.
6. Professional Responsibility
Output is provided as a drafting and data-conversion aid. It is not a survey, legal description, or professional certification. You are responsible for reviewing all output and for any professional judgment, certification, or filing based on it.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that output will be error-free or suitable for any particular use.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valley Land Surveying PLLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the credits at issue.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
